The One About Japan (part 3)

Tokyo Disneysea has got to be one of my favorite Disney park ever! So beautiful.

Brace yourself. Part 3 is here and we're in Tokyo Disneysea for 2 days!

December 26-27, 2017

Early in the morning we're all basically ready to roll out to Tokyo Disneysea. So excited. We were also very fortunate again to be able to get a room at the Disney MiraCosta Hotel. And to our surprise day 1 wasn't that overly crowded. Although the weather wasn't really on our side. It was drizzling rain a bit. It wasn't that bad, but the fact that it was drizzling over the cold winter weather only made it even chillier.

Anyway. We got to the hotel, checked in, and walked straight out into the park. One thing I absolutely love about this hotel is that it is straight bang inside the park overlooking Mount Vesuvius. When you open your hotel room window, the view is simply breathtaking. You'll feel like you're somewhere in Italy or something. Also, being a hotel guest, you get to enter the park via a special entrance from inside the hotel. Perks!

Tokyo Disneysea MiraCosta Hotel centerpiece.. so beautiful

Husband is my kind of 'DILF'

Our hotel room was spacious enough to sleep at least 5-6 people?

Aquatopia

The view at night simply catches my breath away.

In Tokyo Disneysea they serve alcoholic beverages for adults. My personal favorite: Peach and Whiskey!

Happy 15 Year Anniversary Disney Tokyo!

Highlight from Day 1: Aquatopia, Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20.000 League Under the Sea

Okay, one thing you need to know about the Tokyo Disneysea, it may not have a lot of rides as Tokyo Disneyland, but the whole scenery was just absolutely beautiful. The park was a lot bigger (wear super comfortable shoes because you'll be hiking without even noticing it when you're in Tokyo Disneysea). I really love it. Most of the rides and attractions aren't suitable for small children. Since mostly all my youngest do was sleep, eat, and people watching.. it was perfectly okay.

Day 2 we had breakfast at the hotel before heading back out to the park. We managed to ride most of the things that we wanted to do. Day 2, the rain got even worse. It just won't stop come and go drizzling from morning until probably about 4pm. Though it was pretty annoying, but we didn't want to let it stopping us from having fun at the park. At about 6pm we pretty much finished whatever we want to see and do, so we head back to the hotel for one last dinner there before we depart back to our HQ in Ginza.

Another favorite at the park: Sea Salt Ice Cream Monaka!

Indiana Jones Adventures

My little brother and I have this tradition of always do the Indiana Jones' rides at any Disney parks we went to and take a mandatory 'random' poses for the ride's photos. I kinda failed this time because I was too scared my hairbrush would fly off, hence the lack of decent pose and expression. Next time!

My oldest was very eager to meet Mickey in person because apparently he had written a letter for Mickey. So imagine his delight when he finally did meet Mickey and able to give Mickey the letter himself.

Highlight from Day 2: Aquatopia (yes, again), Toy Story Mania, Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull, Sinbad's Storybook Voyage, 20.000 League Under the Sea (yes, again)

Thank you Tokyo Disneysea for your hospitality! We had so much fun. Can't wait to go back. Hopefully soon? *crossing fingers*

Until next time!
