The One with the Romantic Getaway

If it wasn't obvious already, when I said in my previous post that me and the husband are jetting off to the island paradise of Gods, of course we meant BALI!

I haven't been to Bali in quite a while now, so despite my anxiousness of leaving my kids behind (in the capable hands of my parents and our nanny), I'm also very excited to be able to go and spend some quality time with the husband.

Capture Your Style

I'm a coffee table book junkie. I'm all about 'good looking' books to add to my collection, particularly books about fashion and photography that can be showcased on my coffee table or my bedside table (to read or merely for decoration purposes).

This one by one of my favourite blogger/influencer, Aimee Song, 'Capture Your Style', fits the bill. I love her aesthetic and overall outlook on life. So when she came out with a book (although its about acing your Instagram game) I had to get it. I love the book layout and the pictures in it.

Go get yours at your local bookstore now.
I got mine from Kinokuniya

Chit Chat

I can't believe it's November already. How does time flew by so fast? Funny to think, when you're younger you always think "How come time moves so slow?" And then BAM you hit adulthood, you always constantly thinking where did time go?

There aren't any major events happening this month. For me at least. But me and the husband are planning to have a little short getaway on the 14th, just the two of us. As much as we both love our kids and would prefer to have a vacation with them, we need to spend time alone. I think that will keep us sane as a couple, or as "they" always say. (Who are "they" anyway?)

I'm the kind of person who'd rather spend time with my kids. Oh no, don't you dare call me boring. It's called Priority. I do still spend quite a lot of quality time with my girlfriends every now and then. But my top priority is spending time with my kids. They aren't going to be little forever. So I rather cherished the time I get to have with them right now. Before they refused to hang out with their parents (hello teenagers). Also, when it comes to my kids, I like to have things done a certain way (my way).. and call it my pet peeves, I get anxious thinking if things aren't done how I want it to be when it comes to the chickadees. *sighs*

So anyway. Yeah, me and the husband will be jetting off on a 'romantic' getaway to the island of God on the 14th for 2 nights (yes, I have separation anxiety with my kids already just thinking about it). Hope everything goes well.

Speaking of vacation. Another family trip is on the horizon! We're all going on a family trip this December (Christmas and New Year's Eve!). Can you guess where we're heading?

Hint: Emperor, Sashimi, Doraemon.

Can you guess? I'm so excited!

Until my next one!
