Current Favorites: Perverse 'Muse'

I really love cool sunglasses. I've had quite a collection. Classic edgy style mostly. None of those weird funky looking ones though.

My current absolute favorite at the moment has got to go to my 'Muse' sunglasses in white (here), which retailed at $42 a piece, from Perverse Sunglasses, a Los Angeles based sunglasses company.

Check out their website for more cool and chic sunglasses to your heart's delight. I highly recommend this brand. Not only they have so many varied selections, they are super affordable and well-made too. I'm eyeing on what to get for my next purchase.

Food for Thought

A Hero is someone who has given his life to something bigger than oneself. - J.C.
..with all his flaws and imperfections

Terus terang saya bingung bagaimana mau memulai tulisan ini. Hati, pikiran, bahkan langkah kaki saya goyah.

Saya tahu pasti ada orang-orang di belakang yang saking takutnya dengan seorang Ahok, takut kegiatan 'kotor'-nya di obrak-abrik, they'll willing to do whatever it takes to bring this man down. What kind of justice is that?

They can do great and good things to our country.

Betul pak. Kita boleh marah dan kecewa sekarang. Tapi tidak boleh terpancing. Tahan emosi, bergerak terus perjuangkan negara kita. Negara yang menganut sistem Pancasila.

Current Wish List: Chanel Mini Square

It has been quite a while hasn't it? But let's talk about something fun.
That is: my current something-I-wish-I-can-have-right-now.

Although I actually have quite a few things/items in mind that I really, really lusting over.. Right now, I'm going to make it a mission of mine that this year I'm going to get my hand on this baby:
(Even if it means that I have to scrimp and save, so be it)

The CHANEL Mini Square bag in black caviar

Why the teeny tiny little purse you say? Well, to tell you the truth, I'm at that stage in my life where I don't need to bring the whole nine yards inside my purse. I'm cool with bringing just the necessities: wallet, phone, lipbalm/lipstick, small hairbrush, powerbank (charger), and a compact powder (occasionally).. You know, the necessities. And I personally think this purse is so versatile it can go from day to night in an instant. It is uber chic, classic and timeless.

You can't go wrong with a Chanel bag (no matter how 'petite' it is). And being a Chanel lover, you can never go wrong with getting a classic quilted ones, because every year Chanel increases their price and having a classic one won't ever lose its value if you ever decided to part ways with your purse/bag (meaning: selling it).

I'm eyeing on the black caviar one because let's face it.. the caviar leather is so much easier to maintain. Unlike the lambskin one. One scratch and you'll cry yourself a river. I'm not the kind of person who 'baby' my luxury bags either. So I like my bags to have awesome durability.

So yeah. This girl is on a mission. And I'm ON IT.

Current Go To: John Masters Organics Scalp

After giving birth to my daughter, I experienced the worse postpartum hair fall/loss I've ever had. It was so bad that I can easily see some parts of my head thinning. I've tried a couple of different hair treatment/tonic. None of them worked to its max potential I think. And they made my scalp itch and my roots dry. A few months after giving birth, a friend of mine recommended that I should take biotin supplement (mine is this one). So I did. And it helped to a certain level. I've got baby hairs starting to grow exponentially. But it still lacking that volume, shine, and oomph that I want.

During my trip to Singapore back in February, I went to Sephora (of course) and went to the hair section. I found the John Masters products and rest my eyes on the Scalp Treatment spray. I bought it mainly because it is organic and there weren't many chemicals within the ingredients. So I decided to gave it a try for a month or two at least. Lo and behold, I've only been using it for over a month and I have found quite a dramatic change in my hair! I find more hairs are growing and thickening in the areas where it used to be thinning post-partum. My hair strands grew its size. Even my hairstylist noticed the difference when I went in her salon to get a trim. She said she could felt it when she grab my hair in a ponytail it felt thicker than it used to. My scalp didn't feel itchy and my roots aren't dry. My hair felt more luscious and easier to style. All in all, I'd say this is a product I live for! Success! Highly recommended if you are experiencing similar problems as me.

The One About Japan (part 6)

Shabu Shabu time!

December 31, 2017

It's New Year's eve. But it's going to be a super short post this time. I think I'm pretty knackered from the previous pack-unpack mode the last couple of days.. We didn't really plan anything special for New Year's celebration. But do read on anyway.
