We Clean Up Good

We dressed up for my cousin's wedding two weeks ago. I thought we cleaned up pretty good if I do say so myself. A big congratulations to my cousin, Megumi and her new husband, Bobby. May you both live happily ever after!

"That's Life"

This is a super late post. Something I did just for fun for Halloween. I didn't attend any kind of Halloween party just because I didn't want to. But I thought I'd try something fun for myself makeup-wise. I was so inspired by the movie "Joker", I decided to try to do a Joker-inspired makeup look. I thought it turned out pretty good, considering I'm no expert at makeup whatsoever.

September Birthdays

So many special birthdays this month.

Let's start with September 8 - it's my mom's birthday!

And then September 18 - my daughter's 4th birthday!

We celebrated her birthday at her school per her request and she wanted to wear a full on Wonder Woman costume because she's in that phase.

Then September 24 - it's my birthday!

I wanted a donut tower for my birthday cake. My husband totally delivered with this amazing and delicious donut tower birthday "cake" from Dough Darlings.

Thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes personally.

35 and I'm hoping I shall thrive more here on out.

Asian Games 2018 - Wushu

Hari Minggu kemarin, kita sekeluarga berkesempatan nonton live pertandingan Asian Games 2018 cabang Wushu. Kenapa pilih Wushu? I love the sport and the art of this form of martial arts. It exudes grace, beauty and strength. Not only that, my son, also love the sport. He has been taking Wushu lessons for over a year now, and he's been loving every minute of it.

Of course, kita pengen banger liat langsung live penampilan atlit Indonesia kebanggaan kita, Ratu Wushu, Lindswell Kwok. Her form is super flawless and effortless. It was beautiful I literally have chills watching her performance.

Easter with The Gunawans

HAPPY EASTER DAY!

This year my parents and I get the chance to host our annual Gunawan's Easter celebration at my parents' house. I took the liberty of becoming the Easter Bunny (decorating the eggs and whatnot). It was so much fun. We ate too much, we talked too much, we laughed too much. That's just what we do in the Gunawan clan.

Jakarta Fashion Week 2018

I was invited to a few shows during the Jakarta Fashion Week 2018, but from mommy duty, two kids recovering from mild flu and husband's birthday happening all in the same week, I had to decline most of them.

I did went to one of my friend's show, SOE JAKARTA (shout out to @monique_soe) along with two others on the same day brought by the British Council. It was fun.

The One with His Birthday

We celebrated my husband's birthday over the weekend. His birthday was actually on October 25th. But we decided to have his birthday lunch with our family last Sunday (on the 29th) at Sakana Japanese Restaurant (Mid Plaza).

The One with the Kids' Birthday

Since our kids' birthday are only 2 weeks apart, my husband and I decided to have a joint birthday party to celebrate them both - being Little A's 6th and Baby K's 1st birthday.

Little A, being the considerate and loving big brother that he is, was completely on board with the idea. Hence, in order to accommodate both child (different gender and all), we decided on the theme: Pixies and Pirates!

The One with My Birthday

Happy Birthday to me!

My birthday is on September 24th to be exact. So this post is about 4-5 days behind I guess? But never mind that! This year, my birthday celebration is everything I ever wanted: I "party hard" in the comfort of my own bed, with my two kids and husband, junk food and cold beer, netflix marathon and (literally) just chillin'! My idea of fun.
