Bullet Journal: December
We're almost near the end of 2019! For this month's theme, I'm feeling rather festive. So I decided on doing a somewhat Christmasy theme... you know, to get into the holiday spirit. To be quite honest, I really do think that this is my favorite one of the year. And also, be sure to check out the video I posted on how I did this month's spread.

Bullet Journal: November
It's November! And that means we're already on our last stretch of Fall before diving straight into the Winter season next month! I was feeling a little uninspired and caught some creativity block, so this month's setup plan, I kept it pretty much minimalistic with hints of things that represents Fall: autumn leaves, acorns and muted brown color.

Bullet Journal: October
Welcome to Spooktober! When I think of October, I always think of Halloween. So I take this opportunity to create this month's setup to be slightly dipping into the spooky spirit but not going all the way in with the Halloween theme. I really love the outcome of this month's setup. I thought it still packs quite a punch despite the minimalistic aesthetic approach that I always seek for.

Bullet Journal: September
It's September, baby! September is my birth month, and one thing you need to know about me is that I was an 80s baby (I was born in 1984 in case you simply must know), which makes me a 90s kid. I have many fond memories growing up in the 90s. Where social medias are non existent and life was just so much simpler back then.
Anyway, in honour of my birth month, I thought what better way than to do an 80s/90s themed bullet journal setup? I'm thinking neon colors and geometric prints. Stuff that kind of reminds of what I'm into when I was younger.. that whole cool old school MTV generation stuff. I really do think that this theme is one of my all time favorite that I've done so far.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
PS: Don't forget to watch the video at the very end of this post. Also leave it lots of love by giving the video thumbs up and subscribing to my youtube channel.

Bullet Journal: August
It's August baby! Which means it is Back to School month! For me at least because both my kids' school started pretty much at the very end of July. So, yeah. I'm making August a back to school month for me. The super long school holiday has finally ended, and we're back to reality extra hard now.. This month's bullet journal theme that I have chosen are Hot Air Balloons! No particular reason really. My head space has been pretty much in so much chaos the last couple of weeks, imagining being on top of a hot air balloon soaring through the sky felt calming. At least in my mind. Because in all honesty, I'm extremely terrified of height.
Anyway. As always, I posted a video on how I do this month's layout. So don't forget to check out the rest of this blog post and watch the video. And also give the video lots of love by clicking the like and subscribe button. I would highly appreciate it.
Enjoy!

Bullet Journal: July
There's nothing represents Summer better than a beach or pool day. So my theme for this month is none other than Beach Day!
Watch the video below to see how I set up this month's bullet journal spread.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed making them. I have to say, I'm very pleased and proud of myself this month because with this theme, I get to explore my creative side more. Now keep in mind that I am not the best at drawing and all things artsy. But I'm trying to come out of my comfort zone every so often. And I'm very happy with the result!

Bullet Journal: June
Summer is officially here! Here is my June bullet journal set up.
Summer is all about the chill and laid back vibe (although none of that might be happening to your girl any time soon) and the first thing that pops into my mind is ICE CREAM.
Video is linked down below, be sure to give it lots of love!

Bullet Journal: May
May is all about transitioning from Spring to Summer. And I'm all about daisies! It looks very crisp, simple and fresh.
You don't know how much bumps I had to endure to be able to put out this new video. In the middle of filming the camera suddenly stopped recording and I lost a chunk of footage. You can see it in the video below about all my endeavour. Although it took a while, partly thanks to my little brother, I manage to salvaged the video. Hence, the delayed in posting up this video.
Anyway. Enjoy the video below and don't forget to give it lots of love and subscribe to my channel!

Bullet Journal: April
I made a poll on my instagram a while back on deciding what theme I should do for April's bullet journal setup. The contenders were between Rabbit vs Umbrella. Most of the votes went for Rabbit. But guess what? I decided to use both instead. I'm also feeling the color blue this month, so I guess that's also my color theme for this month.

Bullet Journal: March
This month I've chosen the theme of Bees, Beehives and Honeycombs because I thought bees represents the change of season pretty well. I'm also treating you with my travel spread since I'll be going on a short trip abroad with the husband. I'll be posting about that too.

Bullet Journal: February
I experienced some major creative block for this month's setup. That is why, I'm keeping things super simple, easy and clean. And as cliche as it sounds, the theme for the month of February bullet journal set up is "hearts". Another reason is because I really want to use this new Tombow dual brush pen in rose blush color as it looks so pretty.
And as always, there's a video link at the end for you to see how I did my February setup. Enjoy.

Bullet Journal 2019 Set Up
Today is the last day of 2018. Here is my new Bullet Journal set up for 2019.
Of course I went back to my all time fave, a new Leuchtturm 1917 journal, this time in Nordic Blue color. You just can't go wrong with a Leuchtturm journal, you know?

Bullet Journal Plan
'Tis the season to be jolly!
It's December already, and that can only mean two things: Christmas and New Year!
My theme for this month is the Christmas spirit, with many Christmas lights, snowflakes, snowman and Christmas ornaments. The main color is red, obviously.

Bullet Journal Plan
We're almost nearing the end of the year! Where did all the time went?
My theme for this month's bullet journal layout is Outer Space. I'm incorporating constellations, stars, moon, space ships and what not. I hope you like it.
This month I use:
Faber Castell Tripen (black), Tombow Dual Brush Pen (no. 553), Tombow Calligraphy Pen Hard Tip (black), Staedtler triplus fineliner (black)

Bullet Journal Plan
I can't believe it's September already! So on to another monthly bullet journal layout plan!
Since September is known for the start of Fall season, I thought I'd go for a little "Fall" feel with the theme. Hence, the fallen leaves strewn all over the pages in brown, green and a little blue color scheme (because I like those colors together rather than using the 'normal' Fall colors).

Bullet Journal Plan
For the month of May I have decided to do a Star Wars theme. I'm not really good at drawing or sketching, so I rely heavily with Star Wars themed stickers that I found online. What a life saver! So let's get to it and see how I plan out my May 2018 bullet journal layout.

Bullet Journal: Start
I have been diving into the whole bullet journal journey. I'm finally able to put my mind into it and ready to commit myself into this whole wonderful world of bullet journaling.
And what do you know, it actually worked really well with my OCD and anxiety issues.
How to start, you ask?
Simple!
To start your own bullet journal adventure, all you really need are two things: a Journal and a pen.
Any kinds of journal and/or pen will do. In my case, since I'm such a stationery geek, I really put a lot of effort in choosing the perfect journal and pens that I know would work well for my needs. I really love my Leuchtturm1917 dotted journal (I prefer the dotted pages compared to the lines or squares because it's so much easier to work around with). This journal has great paper quality, has a decent number of pages and it looked simple and chic. For pens, I personally love ones that feels buttery soft when you write with: Staedtler, Uni-ball and Greebel are my personal favorites (all in plain black). And then, to add more colors and dimensions to your bullet journal, I like Koi Brush Pen. Also, to add more decorations to your bullet journal, I love using stickers and washi tapes (you can find them online these days).
If you're interested and want see more of my bullet journal adventure, I occasionally record my journey on my instagram story. So make sure you hop on there (@karagunawan) and see when I post stuff about my bullet journal. Would love to hear your feedback and whatnot.
Until next time!
